Bank loan of up to ₹9 lakh at a concessional 3 percent interest rate
A bank loan of up to ₹9 lakh at just 3 percent interest to start or grow a dairy or cattle-rearing setup. You can use it to buy more animals or to improve the shed and the feed. It pairs well with cattle insurance, which protects the animals you buy with it.
Who can apply
- Residents of Uttar Pradesh setting up or expanding a dairy or cattle-rearing unit
- Space for the animal shed
- Bank account and an acceptable loan application
What to take with you
- Aadhaar card
- Bank passbook
- Proof of the land or shed where the animals will be kept
- Project or cost estimate for the dairy unit
How to apply
Apply through the Animal Husbandry Department (Pashupalan Vibhag) office in Baghpat, which forwards the case to the bank. The department portal is animalhusbandry.up.gov.in.
