A free working tap connection in every rural home, with a target of 55 litres of water per person per day
Har Ghar Nal means a tap in every house. Under this mission the government lays the pipeline and gives every rural household a working tap connection free of cost. The supply target is 55 litres of water per person per day. If your village has the pipeline but your house has no tap, or the tap is dry, that is something you can raise.

How to apply
Ask the Gram Panchayat or the Jal Nigam junior engineer for your village to add your household to the connection list. Village-wise progress and complaints can be checked at jjm.up.gov.in.
