e-Shram Card (Registration for Unorganised Sector Workers)
Free registration that gives you ₹2 lakh accidental insurance cover and first claim on other welfare schemes

Once you are registered you get ₹2 lakh accidental insurance cover, and your name is on the government's list of workers, which is what many other welfare schemes ask for first.

Rejected or still waiting? Check these first
Most applications fail for a correctable reason, not because the applicant was ineligible. Before assuming you do not qualify, check each of these:
- Mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, so the OTP never arrives
- Worker is already registered with EPFO or ESIC through an employer
- Name or date of birth on Aadhaar does not match the bank account
Still stuck after checking all of these? Tell us what happened and we will help you work out which office to approach.
